Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior RF Sensor Responsible Engineering Authority to lead RF subsystem design and supplier coordination for advanced missile programs. The role focuses on RF sensor development, antenna and radar integration, and driving design verification and test activities in a fast‑paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level STEM degree or higher; relevant RF experience.
• Experience interfacing with suppliers/subcontractors for complex hardware.
• Ability to interpret engineering requirements and verify hardware compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier development of RF sensors and measurement equipment.
• Coordinate reviews of technical data, design changes, and hardware acceptance.
• Identify risks and mitigations for RF sensor development.
• Support lab testing, field tests, and root-cause failure analyses for RF sensors.
• Maintain artifacts like requirements documents and hardware matrices.
• Travel to supplier sites for reviews and meetings (monthly to bi-monthly).
