Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Senior RF Sensor Responsible Engineering Authority to drive RF subsystem design for advanced missile programs. You will lead design modeling, verification, and integration, collaborating with suppliers and customers to ensure technical, cost, and schedule alignment.

You will mentor engineers, manage risk, and support lab and field testing to advance RF hardware development in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of related work.
• Experience with RF hardware development (antennas, CCAs, subsystems) preferred.
• Experience interfacing with suppliers/subcontractors to develop complex hardware.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier development of RF sensors and measurement equipment.
• Coordinate stakeholder reviews of technical data and hardware acceptance.
• Identify and mitigate risks for RF sensor development and testing.
• Support lab and field tests; assist root-cause analysis for RF sensors.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence.
