Job summary
Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the design and implementation of antenna, radome, and sensor ranges. This on-site role involves guiding cross-functional teams and shaping technical roadmaps to meet defense program needs.
You will work with government personnel to define requirements, provide coaching and training, and ensure range and chamber compliance. A DoD Secret clearance is required, and interim clearance is needed to start.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in STEM and 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with testing of antennas or radomes in a chamber or test range.
- Operation of an antenna, radome, and/or RCS chamber/range.
- Experience with antenna/sensor measurement theory and range operation.
Responsibilities
- Develop antenna, radome, advanced sensor systems, and/or RCS ranges/chambers
- Work with interdisciplinary engineering teams including thermal, structural, mechanical, systems to define, analyze, simulate, implement, and evaluate requirements for ranges and/or chambers, including relevant test equipment
- Work with chamber/range equipment and service suppliers
- Oversee implementation of new ranges/chambers
