Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ, is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to lead the development and detailed design of antenna and radome hardware. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to validate performance and drive hardware requirements through the design cycle.

The role requires leading teams, providing technical oversight, and shaping technology roadmaps while interfacing with government programs to ensure compliance and modernization.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 8 years of experience.
• Experience leading antenna or radome designs through concept trades/studies, preliminary design, final design, and qualification.
• Experience with antenna, radome, or sensor measurements within near or far field systems.

Responsibilities

• Development and detailed design of antenna or radome hardware and requirements.
• Work with interdisciplinary engineering teams including thermal, structural, mechanical, systems, etc.
• Work with antenna or radome manufacturing suppliers.
• Analyze simulation and test data to verify performance to requirements.
