Raytheon in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to contribute to RF subsystems and sensor design for missile products. This onsite role requires an active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain interim clearance and the candidate will work with an interdisciplinary team.

The role covers design, testing, and integration of RF subsystems across MHz to millimeter-wave frequencies, with emphasis on measurements, modeling, and performance evaluation in lab and field environments.

Qualifications

• BS in Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• 5+ years of RF subsystems or RF sensors design/integration/test.
• Ability to obtain Interim DoD clearance prior to start and pursue program access after start.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and integrate RF sensors and subsystems across frequencies MHz to mmWave.
• Decompose system-level requirements into RF component requirements.
• Measure RF components/sensors/subsystems in chamber and range environments.
• Model and analyze link budgets, RF cascades, EMI/EMV, antenna patterns, and receiver/transmitter specs.
