Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA is seeking an experienced Senior RF/Microwave Test Engineer to join the RF Microelectronics/Module Development & Foundry Services team. You will design, install, and operate test systems for GaN and GaAs devices and MMICs used in radar, communications, and EW systems, with emphasis on on-wafer and fixtured testing.

The role requires a strong background in RF/microwave test, proficiency with PNAs and VNAs, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• Minimum 5 years of RF/microwave/mm-wave test experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF/microwave/mm-wave measurements on GaAs and GaN devices, modules and MMICs.
• Conduct fixtured and on-wafer probe measurements.
• Assemble RF/microwave/millimeter-wave test systems.
• Use software to control test equipment and plot test results.
• Support the MMIC and module design teams.
• Mentor junior test engineers.
