Job summary

Raytheon in Andover, MA is seeking a Principal Semiconductor Fab In-Process RF Test Engineer to join our RF Microelectronics team on-site. You will work with RF test engineers to test GaAs and GaN MMICs and support roadmaps from near-term production to longer-term development.

The role requires hands-on experience on the foundry floor, a strong background in RF testing, and the ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance. This is an on-site position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required.
• 10+ years of RF semiconductor testing experience; advanced degree may count for up to 3 years.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Master’s or PhD preferred; experience with GaAs/GaN/GaSb and acoustic semiconductors is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise in-process RF measurements on GaAs and GaN MMICs, transistors and test structures.
• Improve test procedures and address test-related yield issues.
• Consult on new equipment purchases to increase test speed, accuracy and throughput.
• Drive installation, qualification and process matching of new test equipment; troubleshoot issues and mentor engineers.
