Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in RF hardware to own architecture, integration, and validation of multi-transceiver systems for connected devices. You’ll influence chipset selection, PCB design, and RF certification, collaborating with teams across Antenna, Mechanical, Firmware and Systems.

You will drive bring-up, testing, and mass production, ensuring robust wireless performance in mission-critical environments while partnering with vendors and internal engineers in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of embedded wireless hardware/RF design experience.
• Chip-down RF design and board-level integration experience.
• Experience with LTE/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS or similar wireless systems.
• Knowledge of RF coexistence, EMI/EMC, grounding and shielding.
• Experience bringing hardware from concept to mass production.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Own RF chip-down design and board-level integration for multiple wireless technologies.
• Translate requirements into wireless hardware architectures and select chipsets/components.
• Develop and review schematics and PCB implementations for RF transceivers and front-end components.
• Design for RF coexistence, interference, desense, and EMI/EMC.
• Lead bring-up, debugging and verification using RF test equipment.
• Drive certification, regulatory approvals and manufacturing ramp.
• Provide technical leadership to internal teams and external partners.
