Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical hardware. As a founding hardware team member, you will influence architecture and standards across the full lifecycle, from schematics to mass production, and work across RF, mechanical, and manufacturability challenges.

You will lead cross-functional efforts, collaborate with ODMs/JDMs, and drive hardware objectives to completion in a hybrid onsite

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience.
• Experience with PCB design, RF integration, and hardware bring-up.
• Experience meeting multiple standards and working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineering teammates and external partners.
• Proven track record from concept through production Ramp and mass production.
• Strong understanding of RF coexistence and EMI/EMC considerations.

Responsibilities

• Electrical & board design across processors, RF transceivers, power management, memory.
• RF integration and coexistence, addressing performance and EMC concerns.
• Mechanical integration with layout, antenna, and form factor constraints.
• Bring-up, characterization, and debugging with test equipment.
• Drive component selection, BOMs, documentation, and verification for production.
• Provide technical direction to EE team members and external partners.
