Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical, connected hardware. You will lead the hardware team with ownership across the full lifecycle, setting architecture and standards to scale our devices and platforms.

You'll work across schematics, RF coexistence, mechanical integration, form factor, and debugging, tackling challenges in RF frequencies, power, thermal performance, and signal integrity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience with high-speed or battery-powered systems.
• Experience with PCB design, RF integration and coexistence, mechanical integration, and hardware bring-up/debugging.

Responsibilities

• Design mixed-signal schematics and drive PCB layouts for complex hardware.
• Design and validate RF and radio systems across wireless technologies.
• Collaborate with Mechanical/Industrial Design for form factor and antenna integration.
• Bring up, characterize, and troubleshoot hardware using RF/test equipment.
• Drive component selection, BOMs, documentation, and mass production readiness.
• Provide technical leadership to electrical engineering team and partners.
