Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an electrical engineer with a strong foundation in RF design to develop microwave components, AESA architectures, and MMIC modules. The role involves hands-on testing, participation in design reviews, and collaboration with production teams to ensure design-for-test and reliability.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience in Microwave/RF system, subsystem and/or component analysis, design and/or test.
• Experience with an electromagnetic simulation tool such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Genesys and Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition Cadence Virtuso, and an analytical tool such as Matlab.
• Experience performing basic RF calculations and Cascaded Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and hands-on testing of microwave components, cards and systems plus providing technical support to production activities.
• Team leadership skills including cost and schedule management plus proposal writing and presentation experience are desired.
