Job summary

RTX is seeking an electrical engineer to apply RF/microwave theory to architecture, subsystems, components, and AESAs. The successful candidate will work with CCAs and electromagnetic analysis to support phased array development and testing.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Electrical/related STEM, coursework in microwave and RF systems, and ability to travel for integration and customer/partner activities. Strong MATLAB and antenna analysis background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM major.
• Experience or coursework that includes: Microwave Engineering, Microwave Systems, Electromagnetic Theory, Radar Systems, and MATLAB

Responsibilities

• Design of RF microwave components and phased array applications
• Integration and test of component level and system level phased array hardware. Some travel to integration sites, plus customer and subcontractor facilities, may be required.
