Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an electrical engineer to apply strong RF design theory and hands-on testing for microwave components, cards, and AESA‑based systems. You will work on CCA architectures, EM theory, and RF performance in a collaborative, onsite environment across MA locations.

The role requires experience with HFSS/ADS/CST, Matlab, and RF measurement techniques, plus potential travel to sites. Advanced degrees are a plus and security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience in Microwave/RF system, subsystem and/or component analysis, design and/or test.
• Experience with an electromagnetic simulation tool such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Genesys and Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition Cadence Virtuoso, and an analytical tool such as Matlab.
• Experience performing basic RF calculations and Cascaded Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and hands-on testing of microwave components, cards and systems plus providing technical support to production activities.
• Team leadership skills including cost and schedule management plus proposal writing and presentation experience are desired.
• Some travel to integration sites, plus customer and subcontractor facilities, may be required.
