Job summary

RTX seeks an electrical engineer specializing in RF design to develop microwave components, AESA systems, and associated CCAs for defense applications. You will test MMICs and modules, support production, and contribute to phased array integration in a fast-paced environment.

The role is onsite in Massachusetts (Andover, Tewksbury, or Marlborough); relocation assistance is available and a DoD security clearance is required. Strong testing and simulation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree with 2+ years experience or an advanced degree
• Experience in Microwave/RF system analysis, design and/or test
• Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools and numerical analysis
• Experience performing basic RF calculations and cascaded analysis
• Strong hands-on microwave testing skills

Responsibilities

• Design RF microwave components and phased array applications
• Develop insights in RF/Microwave knowledge for new concepts
• Design and test MMIC or module products and test fixtures
• Integrate and test component- and system-level phased array hardware
• Some travel to integration sites and supplier facilities may be required
