Genesis HealthCare is seeking a Business Office Manager to oversee all revenue cycle activities from pre-admission to discharge, ensuring accurate billing and timely collections. You will lead a multi-member business office team, drive Medicaid tracking, and uphold compliance with state and corporate guidelines in a collaborative setting.

You will partner with Admissions, Clinical Reimbursement, and Social Services to deliver high-quality patient account management and financial stewardship

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Accounting or finance coursework preferred.
• At least five years in billing and collections.
• Strong understanding of RCM systems and metrics.
• Collaborative mindset with team leadership.
• Professional conduct with residents and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue cycle from pre-admission to discharge.
• Lead census, billing, collections, adjustments, Medicaid tracking.
• Collaborate across Admissions, Clinical Reimbursement, Social Services.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines and cash handling.
• Use revenue cycle metrics to identify challenges and solutions.
• Partner with Market RCM leaders.
