Job summary

Genesis is seeking a Business Office Manager to oversee the center's revenue cycle operations and business office staff. This role ensures policy compliance, timeliness of payroll-related tasks, and accurate handling of census, billing, and collections.

The BOM will manage resident funds, trust accounts, and coordinate with executives and the Centralized Billing Office to resolve issues and support smooth financial operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with at least five years of long-term care billing and collections experience.
• Additional coursework in accounting/finance is recommended.
• Ability to manage multiple processes within Revenue Cycle Management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all business office functions and ensure policy and procedure compliance.
• Meet deadlines for approving timecards and time-off requests within payroll cycles.
• Maintain systems for census, billing, adjustments, collections, and deposits.
• Manage Resident Trust Fund procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with center leadership and Revenue Cycle Manager for training and support.
