Job summary

EMCOR Services Mesa Energy is seeking a seasoned HVAC/controls project manager to lead retrofit and energy solutions for commercial facilities in the Phoenix area. You will set project priorities, manage estimates, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with department goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in HVAC field and/or management.
• 2+ years in estimation pipe fitting trades work.
• Experience with tooling, machining, fabrication, or construction.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong leadership and organizational skills to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Set work priorities to align with department goals.
• Control expenses by budgeting and approving purchases.
• Communicate department goals to field supervisors and staff.
• Communicate department expectations to project management team and report progress.
• Provide sales support; assist with estimating and project development.
• Assign Project Managers to new projects.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships.
• Lead project review and production meetings.
• Review job costing reports for retrofit projects.
• Oversee scheduling to maximize retrofit resources.
• Ensure proper project implementation and documentation.
• Maintain quality standards by site visits and meetings.
• Assure tools, equipment, and vehicles meet requirements.
• Gather market intelligence for estimating jobs.
