Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for HVAC/building controls, overseeing contract functions between Mesa Energy Systems and clients for small projects. You will also assist and back up Project Managers on larger retrofit construction projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering/construction/business, 3+ years HVAC/controls experience, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office is expected; valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or business management.
• 3+ years of HVAC or building controls experience.
• Experience submitting written proposals, scopes of work, scheduling and coordinating site contractors.
• Strong verbal and listening communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work with accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Create and manage design submittals, RFIs and change orders.
• Coordinate with QC manager to review quality control documents.
• Manage designers, subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely information and on-time delivery.
• Review subcontractor and engineering performance and provide feedback to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate purchasing of supplies, equipment and services and maintain inventory control.
• Review and approve design submittals for compliance.
