Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a project coordinator for Mesa Energy Systems in the Phoenix area to plan, organize, and control contract functions on HVAC retrofit projects.

You will support Project Managers on larger efforts and ensure submittals and change orders are timely. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or business, and 3+ years of HVAC or building controls experience, plus strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, construction management, or business management.
• 3+ years HVAC or building controls experience.
• Experience submitting proposals, scopes of work, scheduling, and coordinating site contractors.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Create and manage design submittals, RFIs and change orders
• Work with Quality Control to create and edit quality documents
• Manage designers, subcontractors and vendors to ensure design & installation information is provided correctly and on time
• Review subcontractor and engineering performance and provide feedback to the Project Manager
• Coordinate purchase of supplies and maintain inventory control
• Review and approve design submittals for compliance
