Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. is seeking a senior-level Project/Operations Manager to lead HVAC retrofit and building automation projects in the Phoenix area. You will oversee project management, budgeting, and vendor relations, ensuring on-time delivery and profitability.

The role requires extensive leadership experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to interpret drawings and specifications to drive successful estimates and project executions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of combined experience in HVAC field or management.
• 2+ years in estimation pipe fitting trades work.
• Fluent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills; able to drive projects to completion.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Set work priorities by reviewing performance to ensure effectiveness and alignment with department goals.
• Control expenses by developing a department budget, monitoring capital expenditures, and approving purchases.
• Communicate department goals and objectives to field supervisors, Project Managers, and support staff.
• Provide sales support as required; assist with estimating and project development; review and sign-off of estimates.
• Assign Project Managers to new projects and develop vendor relationships.
• Lead project review and production meetings and oversee scheduling to maximize retrofit resources.
• Ensure proper project implementation, documentation, and final collections.
