Job summary

CBRE is seeking an Operations Management Manager in New Jersey to supervise maintenance and repair operations for client retail properties. You will lead a team, oversee staffing, schedules, and training, and ensure safety and efficiency in everyday activities.

The role requires a bachelor's degree (preferred) and 3–5 years of related experience, with strong Microsoft Office skills and budget awareness. A discretionary bonus is possible, along with CBRE’s comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Track training and development of staff; conduct evaluations and coaching opportunities.
• Coordinate and manage daily team activities; set schedules and cross-train staff.
• Develop, implement, and communicate preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.
• Ensure technicians have the information and materials to complete work on time and to high quality.
• Develop cost and labor estimates for work orders and projects; assist with budgets.
• Respond to emergency situations and seek help when needed.
• Demonstrate expertise and mentor others across the function.
