Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead a team responsible for the operations and maintenance of a facility, campus, or portfolio of buildings. You will oversee scheduling, capital projects, budgets, and safety compliance while maintaining client relationships and coordinating with vendors and contractors.

The role requires a degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience, with a preference for facility management certification and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience; valid driver’s license required.
  • Facility Management certification preferred.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide formal supervision to employees and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Schedule and manage daily team activities, set schedules and deadlines, and coach staff.
  • Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and resolve facility issues.
  • Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
  • Perform facility inspections and suggest operational improvements.
  • Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and review quotes for parts, services, and labor.
  • Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance and safety best practices.
  • Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
