Job summary

CBRE is seeking an Engineering Ops Manager to supervise a technical services team, ensuring preventive maintenance, repairs, and smooth operations for the account. You will mentor staff, coordinate daily workflows, and align with CBRE policies to deliver reliable results.

This role emphasizes leadership, scheduling, performance management, and client relationship management, with focus on budgeting and process improvement within the facility management scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, measuring performance and retention.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive information and set performance expectations.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the department.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees; monitor training and staff development; conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities; establish work schedules and assign tasks.
• Set and track staff and department deadlines; mentor and coach as needed.
• Maintain relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
• Manage profits and losses of the department or a division; develop goals and initiatives.
• Guide managers in implementing company initiatives and policies; evaluate processes and solve issues.
• Ensure operations are implemented based on established procedures; track regulatory records and paperwork.
