Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee building operations and maintenance for a portfolio of small to medium buildings. You will lead a team, coordinate repairs, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience, with a valid driver's license and FM certification preferred. This role requires strong leadership and operational excellence to deliver reliable facilities services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Facility Management certification preferred.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide formal supervision to employees and oversee staff development.
  • Schedule and manage daily team activities; set deadlines and cross-train staff.
  • Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and address unresolved facility issues.
  • Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
  • Conduct facility inspections and suggest operational improvements.
  • Oversee environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
  • Review vendor quotes and manage procurement of parts, services, and labor.
