Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration is seeking a General Estimator to craft accurate estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will meet with clients, develop competitive estimates using Xactimate, and manage work through completion while communicating progress to clients and management.

The role involves handling large-loss insurance client relationships, maintaining schedules, and ensuring estimates adhere to BELFOR standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Construction, Restoration or Contents Estimating.
• Residential estimating experience over $50,000 and Commercial estimating over $100,000.
• Understanding of BELFOR Estimate Format Standards for Xactimate estimates and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-sketches with multi-levels and/or roof sketches with accuracy.
• Create accurate scopes and floor plans with Xactimate Sketch.
• Maintain budgets and address overages as they present themselves.
• Coordinate after-hours emergency services as directed (board-ups, water/fire damage).
• Maintain vehicle safety and perform required inspections.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
