Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration is seeking an Estimator to develop and manage estimates across residential, commercial, and industrial lines. You will meet with clients, create competitive estimates using Xactimate, and drive work from start to completion while monitoring budgets.

Qualified candidates will review invoices, ensure costs are captured monthly, and advance through BELFOR training to achieve the appropriate Estimator level. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• English literacy and fluency.
• Understanding of MSDS data sheets, and applicability to jobs.
• Must use the BELFOR Estimate Format Standards for Xactimate estimates, proposals, etc.
• Extensive customer service experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, experience with Xactimate.
• Professional demeanor and appearance, excellent telephone skills.
• Ability to work well with others, maintain professional interaction with co-workers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain local area clientele, primarily insurance adjusters.
• Create accurate floor plans in Xactimate Sketch.
• Review budgets and communicate progress with clients and management.
• Review invoices and labor to ensure costs are included in monthly job costs.
• Manage work through completion and meet timelines with trades and management.
• Demonstrate proficiency with decontamination and mitigation techniques.
• Participate in BELFOR training and obtain level certifications as applicable.
