Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Elizabethtown, KY seeks a General Manager/Operating Partner to lead daily operations and drive performance. You will oversee staff, scheduling, training, guest experience, costs, and compliance with company policies.

As the top operations leader, you’ll develop action plans, manage openings and closings, and partner with the Market Supervisor to optimize service quality and profitability while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced studies in business or restaurant management preferred.
• Experience managing restaurant operations and staff.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, manage, direct and terminate staff as needed.
• Oversee compensation levels per company guidelines.
• Supervise all drive-in operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Lead opening/closing duties and guest/employee issue resolution.
• Plan and manage food, labor, and inventory for cost control and quality.
• Lead team meetings and maintain records/reports.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
