Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in the United States, Ohio is seeking a General Manager/Operating Partner to lead and manage drive-in operations and staff. You will guide teams, control costs, and ensure guest satisfaction through consistent service standards.

Requirements include 3+ years in restaurant management, strong leadership and communication, and adherence to labor laws and safety regulations. A high school diploma is required, with advanced business studies preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least three years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws.
• Strong communication, leadership, time-management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, manage, coach, and discipline staff.
• Supervise all drive-in operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Manage opening/closing duties and escalated guest issues.
• Plan and adjust food, labor, inventory to maximize efficiency and cost control.
• Lead regular team meetings and maintain operational records.
• Develop and manage local marketing and business performance actions.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies; sanitary standards.
• Attend to ongoing maintenance and vendor performance as needed.
