Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking a General Manager/Operating Partner in Shepherdsville, KY. This role is the top operations leader responsible for directing all drive-in activities and staff, ensuring a high-quality guest experience.

You will recruit, train, coach, and manage employees, control labor and inventory, oversee daily operations, and drive local marketing and performance. A strong leader with regulatory knowledge and excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least three years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience: Running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• Experience: Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing employees.
• Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of labor laws and health and safety regulations.
• Knowledge/Skills: Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, manage, direct, coach, lead, schedule, assign, discipline, and terminate staff.
• Supervise and manage all drive-in operations to provide an optimal guest experience.
• Manage opening and closing duties and guest/employee issues.
• Forecast and control food, labor, inventory to maximize efficiency and cost control.
• Lead regular team meetings and ensure compliance with standards.
