Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Irving, TX is seeking a General Manager/Operating Partner to lead operations and staff, drive guest satisfaction, and oversee brand standards. This role reports to the Market Supervisor and is the top management position for the drive-in.

Responsibilities include recruiting and developing a team, controlling labor and food costs, scheduling, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with laws and company policies while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing employees.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws.
• Knowledge of health and safety laws and regulations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, manage, direct, coach, lead, schedule, assign, discipline, and terminate staff.
• Supervise and manage all drive-in operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Manage opening and closing duties and sanitation.
• Develop, implement, and manage action plans for local marketing and business performance.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports and recordkeeping.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and laws.
• Lead regular team meetings and manage vendor performance.
