Job summary

The New York Foundling seeks a residence leader to provide supervision and operational oversight, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services for residents. Qualifications

• Progressive experience in residential services; supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license from NY/NJ/PA/CT with 6 points or less.
• Knowledge of Developmental Disabilities and individualized life plans.
• Regulatory knowledge: Medicaid regs, licensing requirements.
• Budget management and resource allocation experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to Direct Support Professionals; ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with MAP, nurses, BIS for medical and clinical care and data for persons supported.
• Develop and retain an effective DSP workforce with coaching and performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with program regulations and readiness for audits.
• Coordinate with external agencies, families, and healthcare providers for coordinated services.
• Oversee emergency preparedness protocols and ensure safety of persons supported.
