Job summary

The New York Foundling in New York is seeking a Residence Supervisor to lead direct support professionals and oversee daily operations ensuring high-quality, person-centered services for residents. You will collaborate with MAP, nurses, BIS, and external partners to coordinate care and support strong, inclusive outcomes.

You will also manage budgeting, staff development, and compliance, fostering a safe, dignified living environment for individuals supported.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED/Associates Degree required; progressive experience in residential services preferred.
• Strong leadership and supervision experience in a social services setting.
• Familiarity with OPWDD regulations and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to Direct Support Professionals, ensuring policy adherence and quality care.
• Collaborate with MAP, nurses, BIS and team to coordinate medical and clinical care for residents.
• Develop and retain a strong DSP workforce through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with program regulations, policies, and standards; prepare for audits.
• Coordinate with external agencies, families, and healthcare providers to support residents.
