Job summary

The New York Foundling seeks a dynamic leader to provide supervision and operational oversight for the residence, ensuring delivery of high-quality, person-centered services. You will collaborate with the Residence Manager and multidisciplinary teams to promote health, safety, independence, and dignity for persons supported.

Responsibilities include coaching DSPs, ensuring adherence to OPWDD regulations, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive experience in residential services, including supervisory/managerial experience.
Bachelor's degree holders have added supervisory experience expectations.
Regulatory knowledge of residential programs and Medicaid/licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and supervision to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to ensure policy and standards adherence.
Coordinate with MAP, nurses, BIS and team for medical/clinical care and planning.
Develop and retain a strong DSP workforce with coaching, training, feedback, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with program regulations, policies, and standards; prepare for audits or site visits.
Collaborate with external agencies, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate services.
