Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in residential services, including 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Regulatory knowledge of OPWDD or relevant guidelines governing residential programs.
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities and individualized plans.
• Budget management and resource allocation for residence operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication with families, staff, and external partners.
• Crisis management and safety responsiveness in a residential setting.
• Experience in documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to Direct Support Professionals, ensuring adherence to agency policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with medical and clinical teams to support plans, meetings, and data for persons supported.
• Develop and retain a strong DSP workforce with coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with program regulations and readiness for audits or site visits.
• Coordinate with external agencies, families, and healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive services.
• Implement emergency preparedness protocols for crises.
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory records for the residence.
• Build relationships with staff, advocates, and stakeholders to enhance support networks.
