Job summary

Progress Residential, L.P. is seeking a Service Technician III – HVAC to inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems across our single-family rental homes.

You will support routine maintenance, diagnose complex issues and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. The role requires 5+ years in general service, HVAC certification, EPA certification and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA certification required.
• HVAC certification preferred; technical college/trade program background.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, etc.).
• Experience servicing residential HVAC systems and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential homes.
• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance and replacements as needed.
• Diagnose advanced issues and report major repairs before expenditures.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Interact with residents and vendors professionally.
