Job summary

Progress Residential, LLC is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to maintain and repair HVAC systems across our single-family rental homes. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and complete service requests with a strong focus on safety and resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring EPA and HVAC certifications, 5+ years of maintenance experience, own essential tools, and are available for on-call work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance (paint, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall, etc.).
• Technical College or Trade Program with HVAC Certification is preferred.
• EPA Certification Required.
• Experience repairing residential appliances in customers’ homes preferred.
• Own basic tools needed to perform ongoing service in residential environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC and related systems in Progress Residential single-family homes.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose advanced issues and repair or replace defective equipment.
• Maintain safety and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Complete service requests professionally and on schedule.
• Ensure timely communication of major repairs or replacements and safe property conditions.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
