Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Staff Renewals Operations Manager to own the renewal engine at scale. You will partner across Revenue, Finance, and Sales to standardize processes, improve data flows in Salesforce, and drive accurate forecasts and insights.

You’ll lead end-to-end renewal operations, from identification and risk assessment to quoting and post-renewal data hygiene, while mentoring others and contributing to broader Revenue Operations initiatives in our all-remote environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Renewals Operations or Revenue Operations with cross‑functional ownership.
• Hands-on renewal forecasting, retention reporting, and renewal mechanics.
• Proficiency with SQL or data-querying tools and CRM data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the end-to-end renewal operating model from identification through to close and post-renewal data hygiene.
• Develop and optimize renewal operating cadences for efficiency and process improvement.
• Define and evolve retention reporting with cross-functional partners (gross/net retention, churn, downgrades).
• Partner with Revenue Technology, Revenue Analytics, Finance and stakeholders to improve Salesforce and data flows supporting CRM, subscription data, quoting, billing and reporting.
• Automate renewal motion with standardized workflows, alerts, playbooks, and self-service insights.
