Job summary

Enel North America Inc. is seeking a Renewable Technician III to perform advanced maintenance, diagnostics, and field execution at utility‑scale solar and BESS facilities.

The role emphasizes PV systems, medium‑voltage work, and safety leadership while coordinating with site leadership and contractors. Ideal candidates will have 4–6 years in renewable energy or industrial maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and advanced troubleshooting capabilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical schooling preferred.
• 4–6 years in renewable energy, power generation, or industrial maintenance.
• Advanced competency in complex troubleshooting and safe decision‑making.
• Site qualification QEW3 must be completed in 6 months; site switching qualification required.
• State Electrician license or equivalent is preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on Solar PV and BESS equipment.
• Lead medium‑voltage switching, isolation, and restoration when designated and authorized.
• Analyze SCADA/alarm data to diagnose conditions and verify repairs.
• Coach junior technicians and coordinate with contractors and OEMs.
• Participate in root cause analysis, reliability initiatives, and on‑call rotations.
