Job summary

EDF Renewables in the United States seeks a Technician 3 Renewable Energy Technician to perform unsupervised maintenance on wind, solar, and storage assets. You will lead maintenance tasks, train junior technicians, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on site.

Expect hands-on fault finding, diagnosis with advanced tools, and collaboration with engineering teams. Training and 5-week program are provided at the start of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years renewable energy experience.
• Must have valid driver's license and English fluency.
• Senior Renewable Energy Technician Qualification Standard completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform unsupervised maintenance on utility-scale renewable energy assets.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians as outlined in qualification cards.
• Ensure site safety, inspections, and documentation are completed.
• Operate diagnostic tools and support system testing and commissioning.
