Job summary

RNWBL is seeking a S&B Solar Technician III to support site operations, maintenance, and safety for renewable energy equipment. You will assist the Site Lead and manage technicians in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections, ensuring compliance with LOTO, OSHA, NEC, and NFPA 70E guidelines.

The role requires knowledge of PV, BESS, substations, and collection systems, with the ability to interface with PLCs, program equipment, and diagnose electrical issues within

Qualifications

5+ years of leadership in solar & BESS operations.
Experience installing, maintaining, testing circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, URD and XLPE.
Ability to read and interpret protection and control schematic diagrams and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

Oversee field technicians and lead by example in electrical safety and best practices.
Plan, schedule, and execute maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
Coordinate with site leadership to develop annual maintenance plans and ensure on-time completion.
Document work, review CMMS entries, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
