Job summary

EDF power solutions North America seeks dedicated Renewable Energy Technicians for maintenance of wind, PV, and BESS assets. Roles range from entry-level Tech 1 to expert Tech 5, with on-site duties and safety leadership responsibilities.

Training includes a 3–4 week program in Albert Lea, MN; travel and expenses provided. On-site work is in Mount Sterling, OH, with opportunities to advance to lead roles and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; diverse renewable energy exposure preferred.
• 0–1 year (Tech 1) to 5+ years (Tech 5) in renewable energy workflows and maintenance.
• Familiarity with NEC and OSHA standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols (LOTO) and lead site safety assessments.
• Maintain logs, work orders, time tracking, and inventory documentation.
• Attend safety and technical trainings; responsible for site budgets and efficiencies.
• Tech 2–5 participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for monitoring and fault ID.
