Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is hiring Renewable Energy Technicians to support maintenance, repair, and operation of utility-scale wind, PV, and BESS assets. Roles span Tech 1 to Tech 3 with progression based on experience and competency.

On-site work at Willow Springs and Cuyama solar sites in California, with mandatory training conducted in MN. Candidates should be prepared for field conditions, safety protocols, and 24/7 on-call rotations depending on level.

Qualifications

• Entry qualification: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 0–1 year (Tech 1), 1–2 years (Tech 2), 2+ years (Tech 3).
• Safety training and ability to read technical manuals required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor upgrades.
• Lead/assist teams on routine tasks and maintain logs and documentation.
