Job summary

WSP is seeking a Sr. Renewable Energy Electrical Engineer for our Houston, TX office, with consideration for Boulder, CO, Buffalo, NY and Austin, TX. You will provide technical leadership across design, due diligence, permitting, and construction of utility-scale renewable energy projects (wind, solar, BESS).

You will develop electrical models, review calculations, and ensure code compliance. Ideal candidates hold a BS in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and are pursuing or able

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a US licensed PE.
• Proficiency with electrical engineering principles and design/build processes.
• Familiarity with renewable energy systems and codes/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, engineering, and guidance for multi-site renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate electrical infrastructure design plans for projects.
• Develop electrical models and reports for detailed design.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Ensure QA/QC and adherence to industry standards.
