Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to join the Cyberpunk 2 team. You will develop and optimize rendering solutions using Unreal Engine 5 to help designers and artists realize a sprawling cyberpunk world.

Work involves close collaboration with engineers and artists, tackling memory and performance challenges to push visual fidelity while supporting a large-scale open world. Remote/hybrid options for US-based candidates are available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience in rendering or graphics.
• Experience with AAA titles and Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in C++ with strong graphics programming background.
• Knowledge of modern rendering techniques and GPU/CPU architecture.
• Experience with low-level graphics APIs (DX12, Vulkan).
• Proficient in multi-threaded programming and performance optimization.
• Strong communication, ownership, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance existing graphics systems for performance/memory improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers and content teams to craft new rendering solutions for large open-world environments.
• Help art teams bring characters and a cyberpunk world to life with high visual fidelity.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage across CPU and GPU.
