Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to join the team working on Cyberpunk 2, leveraging Unreal Engine 5 to define the future of visual fidelity. You will collaborate with engineers and artists to deliver cutting-edge rendering solutions for a large-open world, pushing runtime performance and memory efficiency.

The role requires extensive C++ and graphics programming experience, with a strong background in rendering techniques and profiling.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience.
• Experience on AAA console titles, especially with Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in C++ with in-depth graphics programming experience.
• Professional knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 or in-house engine.
• Extensive knowledge of modern rendering techniques and GPU/CPU architecture.
• Multithreaded programming experience.
• Experience with low-level graphics APIs (DirectX12, Vulkan).
• Experience with graphics debuggers (RenderDoc, Pix).
• Ability to profile and optimize performance at a low level.
• Strong communication, ownership, and proactive teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance existing graphics systems for performance and memory efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers and content teams to develop new rendering solutions for large open-world environments.
• Help art teams bring characters and cyberpunk worlds to life with high fidelity rendering.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage across CPU and GPU.
