Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED seeks a Senior Rendering Engineer to join Cyberpunk 2 rendering efforts using Unreal Engine 5. You will develop and optimize rendering systems for a large open world, collaborating across engineering and art teams to elevate visual fidelity and performance.

You will contribute to runtime optimizations, memory management, and cutting-edge techniques like real-time rendering, with a global team and flexible hybrid/remote work options.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience.
• Experience on AAA console titles, especially with Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in C++ with deep graphics programming knowledge.
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine 5 or an equivalent engine.
• Strong knowledge of modern rendering techniques and CPU/GPU architectures.
• Multithreaded programming experience.
• Experience with low-level graphics APIs (DirectX12, Vulkan, etc.).
• Experience with graphics debugging tools (RenderDoc, Pix, etc.).
• Ability to profile and optimize performance at a low level.
• Excellent communication, ownership, and proactive collaboration.
• Willingness to help the team complete work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance graphics systems for performance and memory.
• Collaborate with engineers and content teams to develop new rendering solutions for a large open world.
• Help art teams bring characters and a vibrant cyberpunk world to life with high fidelity.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage across CPU and GPU.
