Actalent is seeking a Sr Transmission Line Engineer for a fully remote role. You will lead a small transmission line team, coordinate with in-house and client engineers, and oversee project design from 69 kV to 765 kV using PLScADD.

The role includes training lower-level engineers and ensuring projects meet schedules and safety standards. The position requires PE licensure, ABET-accredited degrees (Master’s preferred), and the ability to travel occasionally for site visits.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil or electrical engineering degree required.
• Master’s degree may count toward years of experience.
• PE license required.

Responsabilités

• Perform engineering and design activities for Transmission Line Engineering.
• Prepare construction documents, drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Develop design alternatives and cost estimates.
• Design transmission lines from 69 kV to 765 kV.
• Lead and coordinate work, provide training to engineers, and mentor staff.
• Serve as engineering project lead and ensure safety and compliance.
