Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Sr. Manager in Learning and Development to own and optimize technical learning solutions across North and South America.

You will lead the technical training program, align delivery with business priorities, and partner with Operations leadership to ensure competency and impact. You’ll coach and develop technical instructors, manage the learning plan, report on attendance, travel up to 40%, and act as a trusted advisor across the Americas to maximize course effectiveness and

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years facilitating sales training and coaching.
• Extensive experience developing and delivering learning focused on technical resources.
• 40% Travel (North and South America)
• Self-sufficient, able to work in a matrix organization.
• Strong planning and scheduling around learning needs analysis.
• Innovator with ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Experience coaching and influencing.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent).
• Ability to design and develop unstructured media content.
• General understanding of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil-free air compressors.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, mentor and develop technical trainers across North and South America.
• Define required learning plans and resources across technical job families.
• Own the learning plan, adapt to changing business needs, report monthly to stakeholders.
• Lead Technical Instructors for delivery of training on products and safety areas.
• Maintain a robust feedback loop for lifecycle management of content.
• Act as a trusted advisor on technical learning across the Americas.
• Manage internal and external suppliers and funding accordingly.
