Job summary

Ladders seeks a Subcontracts Program Manager to provide senior-level oversight of subcontractor performance in a remote, high-visibility role within a large-scale services environment. You will partner with leadership and external teams to align schedules, costs, communications, and outcomes with program objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience
• Experience as a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) or Program Manager (PM) in large-scale operational environments
• Proven track record in managing and negotiating with subcontractors
• Strong understanding of finance, subcontracting, and contract types
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on relationship-building
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to respond quickly and accurately in a team setting
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with executives, employees, subcontractors, and customers

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level oversight and strategic advisory support for subcontractor performance
• Act as the primary liaison between leadership and subcontractor teams during transition activities
• Mentor junior subcontract support resources on schedules, costs, and performance management
• Lead performance reviews, assess variances, and recommend corrective actions
• Collaborate with leadership and subcontractor teams to prioritize actions and resolve operational needs
• Oversee subcontract communications and recommend modifications to align with program requirements
• Identify risks related to subcontracts and propose mitigation strategies
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance subcontract management practices
