Job summary

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in the United States is seeking a Senior Subcontract Manager to oversee cost, schedule and technical performance on high‑risk contracts across commercial, DOD and international programs. You will lead cross‑functional teams to develop subcontract specs, terms and conditions, and manage complex awards from bid to completion.

Experience with FAR/DFAR, multiple contract types, and SAP-based planning is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Extensive background with subcontract management of cost, quality, schedule and technical program performance.
Experience with Systems, Applications, and Processes (SAP) or a related resource planning system.
Experience with training and developing early career team personnel, either formally or informally.
Problem solving experience including root cause corrective action.
Experience with FAR/DFAR.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs.
Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams.
Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions and writes subcontract packages.
Administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity.
